Members of the East London Humanist group joined 100,000 or so demonstrators in London, and millions around the world, on 21 January.

The day after Trump’s inauguration was an important moment to assert our positive values in the face of the hatred and bigotry that marked so much of his campaign. Humanist’s have concerns regarding a range of policies, many of which are championed by religious conservatives such as Vice President Mike Pence, a born again evangelical Christian. These include rolling back progress on a woman’s right to choose, gay rights and climate change.
