From singing  with Duran Duran, to writing for The Spectator and Guardian, to writing  for TV comedy shows. One of her most memorable and far-reaching ideas was the 2009 Atheist Bus  Campaign which went \u2018viral\u2019 and was copied in countries around the  globe. Read more about Ariane <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ariane_Sherine\">here<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ariane will be talking about her life, and her much-acclaimed recent book <em>\u2018Talk yourself better: A confused person\u2019s guide to therapy, counselling and Self-help.\u2019 <\/em>She  describes the hate mail she received from extreme Christians, her nervous  breakdown, and her road to recovery. There will be a book-signing  session at the end.<br><br>This should prove a fascinating, entertaining and enlightening  evening. Free and open to all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Doors open at 7.00 for tea and chatting. Join us at the convivial \nGeorge pub opposite Wanstead Tube&nbsp;after the meeting for further \nsocialising.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6><strong><em>The library is a 2 minute walk from Wanstead Underground Station<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<strong><em>(Central Line).\u00a0Nearby  bus stops include 308;145;W12;W13;W14;66;101.
